I so frequently find myself standing still and appreciating things that people take for granted in life. This outlook makes me an avid admirer architecture and urban landscapes. FRINGE FESTIVAL OPENING - 4th March @ 4pm
Live music from "Shipwrecked in the Desert" and a DANCING ROOM happening from 5pm!!Green Rat Collective: Lizzy Emery, Jess Erceg, Laura Masters, Lauren Mustillo and Adele Sliuzas make up this group of emerging theorists and arts writers currently studying at the South Australian School of Art. This collective produce events and installations that bring theory and writing to the forefront of artistic practice in Adelaide.
Zoe Brooks: Completed her Bachelor of Visual Arts at O’Halloran Hill TAFE in 2009. She exhibited in the Helpmann Academy Graduate Art Exhibition 2010 and at FELTspace in 2011. Her practice blurs the boundaries of painting, installation and sculpture.

Paper string plastic at 6pm curated by Adele Sliuzas & Madeline Reece. Paper String Plastic would like to present in conjunction with the 2012 Adelaide Fringe Festival, DISAPPEARANCE, an exhibition curated by Madeline Reece and Adele Sliuzas. Through the exploration of nothingness in local contemporary art practices, DISAPPEARANCE showcases the work of artists Brad Lay, Riley O’Keeffe, Julia McInerney, Alanna Lorenzon and Sarah Buckley. The works presented within this exhibition display the positive and engaging properties of absence.

A Change of Heart, featuring Rebecca Prince explores the process and cycle of change occurring in a soul searching for self. Rebecca works with mixed media on paper and canvas layering images that evolve as she creates; echoing the shadows of feelings, thoughts and memories occupying her subconscious.

This exhibition will explore the latent architectural qualities in the idea of the ‘island’. The participating artists and architects are asked to take one or more of these islands and a produce a study on the idea suggested by Lucian’s text. Participants are asked to consider the opportunity to bring the thematics of these texts into contemporary experience, exploring the idea that islands may represent both symptoms and solutions to the experience of isolation.

This is a list of the 10 items chosen as most under extreme danger of loss or degradation. Included is the Glenelg Ozone Cinema - which has now tragically been demolished.
Come and see the display and mourn the potential losss of other amazing sites around SA with a closing night event. Free drinks and nibbles.
